Striped Skunk - Mephitis mephitis

While I was at my moth lights last night, I was photographing a moth at ground level in the ferns when all of a sudden I heard an animal in the ferns 2 feet from my face. I gave it some space and this skunk came out and proceeded to the sheet, eating lots of bugs. After it was there for 2 hours, I scared it away and resumed my mothing. But after a couple minutes it came back for more, so I decided it was time to call it a night.
