More than 500 riders gathered at the Lone Star Cowboy Church in Montgomery, TX to support the second annual Texas Honor Ride. Proceeds will benefit military personnel and their families at Brooke Army Medical Center, located at Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio. The event's main draw was a motorcycle ride through the Sam Houston National Forest. Additional activities included BBQ lunch (bikers always need food), live music, live and silent auctions for a variety of donated merchandise and a visit by an Apache Attack Helicoptor and a U.S. Coast Guard Rescue Helicoptor. A total of approximately $30,000 was raised during the day.
