Overland Track (Panoramic)

Panoramic photos taken on the Overland Track in Tasmania, February 2005. This track is widely regarded as the best hike in Australia and it is amongst the best in the world. There are majestic mountains, beautiful waterfalls, crystal clear lakes and fascinating forests. The track starts from Lake Dove in the North and traverses South for 80km to Lake St Clair. I'm surprised none of the others in our group have posted any comments here, or is it not the norm for ppl to post comments? or perhaps they're just waiting 4 others to start?

as we hiked thru the overland, many thots came to mind, many songs too...
In open fields of wild flowers, she breathes the air and flies away. She thanks her Jesus for the daises and the roses in no simple language... (Love song for a saviour)

Over the mountain and the seas your river runs with love for me... (I could sing of your love forever)

I am reaching for the highest goal... (In the secret)

What if I stumble, what if I fall? What if I lose my step and I make fools of us all? Will the love continue when my walk becomes a crawl? (What if I stumble?)

...I stand amazed I stand in awe...

and many more...


anyway, just wanna say that as I looked thru the pictures, "I am speechless, I'm astonished and amazed..." In fact I even question if I actually saw these while on the move? or was I just too tired to enjoy and marvel the beauty of nature.
