30 June - 1 July: Climbed the Bungalow Spur with fellow bushwalkers from YHA Bushwalking Club. It was snowing all weekend with gale force wind expected on Saturday so we wisely abandoned plans to cross the Razorback and went up and down Bungalow instead. It took me an exhaustive 4 hours to reach the Fedearation Hut where we had lunch. We then climbed to the summit of Feathertop in hostile wind and white out conditions with snowshoes and ice axes. Got there, no views but great fun! Great start to snow camping trips of 2007!
