Day 0 means arriving one day early, which turned out to be a good idea because arrival was 10:00 o'clock at night, and the tour started at 6 the next morning. Arriving a day early meant having a day to adjust to the time zone differences and the exhaustion of 14 hours of flight time, plus a tranquil paddle around Lake Duluti.
