It was very crisp outside this morning. We drove to Zonhoven to take a walk at the Holsteenbron. Gosh, I forgot to take my kitchen knifes. Why? Let me tell you about the Holsteenbron? It's a formation of boulders that appear to be surfacing in a sandy area. They were not transported here, but were probably created here 15 million years ago by a process called diagenese (at least that's what the sign said, must be true). You can still see the marks made in prehistoric times (by my ancestors?) to sharpen and polish tools.
