This is a Great all-purpose lens. Most of the 3,000 plus pictures I have on pbase were taken through this lens. It does work much better as a macro lens than as a telephoto (for wildlife). I have become a big fan of Tamron lenses. Please note that the compression on pbase does make shots a little muddier than is possible at hi-res, or printed.
