workplace

Fairport, NY

I work in a building behind this vantage point.
The Erie canal is on the other side of the building to the right.
This complex was originally the Cobb preserving company dating back to 1875.
During the 1950's and 1960's it was home to Crosman Arms, makers of BB and pellet guns.
It is now broken up into an eclectic mix of small businesses and artist studios.
I work as an industrial modelmaker for a small model making firm.

Canon PowerShot A75
1/1250s f/2.8 at 5.4mm full exif

other sizes: small medium original auto

Great shot. Love how the alleyway leads you into the photo. The car in the distance really helps you see how long this row is. Love the reflections in the window and puddle as well as the shadows/lighting. Great photo.

Looks like the view from the back of my office building. Very industrial feel. And, what you do sounds like a great job! Love the vantage point.

Very well composed and B&W is perfect for the industrial setting. Great image and a nice story to go along with it.

Cool shot. The processing fits this nicely. Great to learn that this building is still being used and it sound like you have a fascinating job.

Ooops, I should have looked at your title! Love your framing.

Interesting alley with no street lighting, is it an industrial site Timothy? Black & white the best choice...
