Very nice work. My initial purpose was to see work done with a lens I'm considering. The images were very helpful for that. But, I had a very nice time looking at the photos and studying the composition.

I've had mine now fpr several months.
I love it! Its on my canon 95 percent
of the time.

Hi,

Thanks for posting these pictures. I have two questions though. Were these photos sharpened either in-camera or post-processing? Also, where did you have the saturation setting on your camera. Just wondering since some of the photos (to me) seem a little less crisp and less saturated then maybe they should be. Given that, I especially think the photo "Near Banwell" is stunning.

Good sharp images with saturated colours, performs well in the lower light end 'The Ship'. I've just bought the lens for use on my Fuji S3, although I've taken a few the weather has been just awful.

Thanks for posting these photos. I'm currious about this lens as a replacement for either the Canon 18-55mm EF-S or the 17-85mm IS. Any commnets regarding the optical quality between the Tammy and Canon lenses? How about the focus speed? (I assunme it's significantly slower than the USM, but how about the 18-55mm).
