17 minutes prior to the launch of Space Shuttle Discovery, NASA alerted us to the fact that the International Space Station (top center in this photo) would be visible flying overhead. We saw it coming, and I snapped several photos as it flew by, and passed between us and the moon.

Wow!!! You can make out the solar pannels, very cool. We were in the stands about 2-3 miles away. From our vantage point, the space station flew right through the moon, couldn't of planned that. Thanks for sharing.
