« Tyne Cot » ou « Tyne Cottage » était le nom donné par les
Northumberland Fusiliers à une grange située près d’un passage à niveau
sur la route reliant Passchendaele à Broodseinde. Il est dit que la
grange ressemblait aux maisons de campagne le long de la rivière Tyne.

"Tyne Cot" or "Tyne Cottage" was the name given by the
Northumberland Fusiliers to a barn along the Passchendaele to Broodseinde
road. It is said that the barn ressembled the cottages along the Tyne river.
