Michael, I totally agree with what both Terry and Hal said. It is a fantastic image and should be enjoyed! I often go back to my Lightroom library and find old photos from years past that I had ignored at the time (though I'm sure that would not have been the case with this stand-out), and I process them again, or for the first time. BTW, I still have my Mamiya 645 in my cupboard. I enjoy using it. It is still a wonderful photographic tool.
I can't believe I haven't commented on this already, Michael. My apologizes! I love this. We have paintings of the Portland Head Light on a couple of our walls. Very nice composition and image overall!

A really beautiful shot Michael. lt always puzzles me that photos are expected by most people to have been taken recently. So sad that it is so. And with paintings, the older the better. And when a famous artist dies, the value of his work trebles or more. But photos are expected to have been taken very recently. You are a very fine artist Michael. The silly photo rules don't apply on TTL. l'll be delighted to see any of your fine work from yesterday or from 30 or more years ago. This one just makes me want to see more of your work.
