Interior shot of the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, TN. This building is also known as the home of the "Grand Ole Opry" and the "Mother Church of Country Music."A newer Opry House is built 12 miles east, but this wonderful old building is still the scene of a large number of musical events. Occasionally the Opry is done in this building, which is in the center of town. The acoustics are amazing and the site is in the center of town. I much prefer it to the new place. As a matter of fact, the building is about to undergo its fourth renovation soon.
This shot is from the upper right balcony. The windows are usually more translucent; the heat on this day was amazing, and at about 11 AM the temperature was 91 degrees F. Unfortunately, the humidity was slightly higher.
