6-25-2015 Female Killdeer and brand-new Hatchling

The killdeer family was in the middle of the road - I stopped for them and was able to stop on-coming traffic while the parents rounded up
four or five hatchlings. It was a touching moment. I had my 400 with 1.4x mounted, and with
no time, wasn't able to get a decent shot of the family. But what a treat to see.
