Whitman County, Washington

Pioneer Barn 1904

Or so reads the sign on the front of this old barn between Garfield, WA and Farmington WA in the region known as "The Palouse". The snow was coming down so hard and blowing sideways in front of it that it was challenging to get a good focal point. Although this one is showing its age, I'd say overall it looks pretty good for being over 110 years old!

Great composition and mood. It certainly looks very cold. Lovely shot Jim.

The snow blowing in front of the building creates a great mood I can imagine how cold it was on the day. The tight framing gives the building a sense of importance. Well done.
