Weston Mouth

Near Weston Mouth in S Devon.
I had a good long walk at the weekend, after the remants of Hurricane Berta had passed.
The beach was quiet, the sun bright and the clouds fluffy, the sea had many colours etc.
So 4 miles each way over shingle and back over the hills as the tide had come in was really enjpyable.

Lovely composition and colours. There is nothing better than a walk along the beach with a camera. One can loose ones self for hours! It is a beautiful beach.

I left a comment on here a couple of days ago, but I must not have been signed in correctly. I'm sorry, Pete. This photo is excellent. I love how you got down low to include so much of the rock and stone. I appreciate your 8 mile trek, even though my original comments thought it was 16. LOL, 8 is still amazing to me. You really show passion for your craft!

What a great place for a little peace and time of contemplation and photography. I like your low perspective and focus on the land.

Sounds wonderful and certainly looks wonderful, Pete. Beautifully photographed - I love
the overall depth of field. Nicely done!

sorry - exaggerated the distance of my walk, doubled it in fact.
It was 4 miles each way and I mistakenly doubled this - now corrected

Well done Pete, you must be fit! I have not heard of Weston Mouth, but it looks like it is well worth a trip there.

Looks like you had that strip of coast all to yourself, Pete.
A lovely and desolate scene. 16 miles is a very considerable walk.
