We were eating dinner, when I heard a strange sound. I went to the balcony, and saw a fire truck and crew across the wash from our condo building. They were extending their ladder up to our roof. A fireman climbed the extended ladder and entered the roof. Then he came down, they retracted the ladder and left. It was fun to watch them drive the big ladder into position. We live in a five story building (one of the tallest in Lake Havasu.), but they only climbed up to the part that is three stories tall. Maybe they were just checking to see if they could rescue us from the roof.
You might notice that their is a sand storm going on (on the far mountains in California).
