Thank you, everyone. Your comments are really appreciated.

Lynn, I was hoping to take a glass-bottom boat out over a couple of wrecks, but the weather did not cooperate and the boats were not going out when we were there. The weather had warmed, rains stopped and the wind died down before we got to Whitefish Point, but it was too late to go back and book the boat.

A great place to get away, and "kick through the traces".
Lovely ambience

Really nice composition, and very fine quality image.
This is some beautiful spot!

Seems so strange to me seeing these big ships on lakes. And not having salt-water beaches.

I love the colors and composition, Cindy! Fascinating history and stories too :)

Ah, you visited the Shipwreck Museum and the lighthouse too? This is very nice! I got some wonderful shots on this beach too. Did you ever go out to the ship wrecks? I haven't and have wondered...

Most interesting, Cindy.
This must be a treacherous area, considering the number
of ship-wrecks there.
The Great Lakers used to be distinguished by having the
bridge and wheel-house right on the bow.
lt seems that they have done away with that now
and the ships now look like their ocean-going cousings .
