Massive beast Cindy, all too sadly hunted for its horn. The Black Rhino is the fierce bad tempered one, best avoided on foot!

Thanks Cindy. The second photo could mean big trouble were it
not for the moat. Both photos are spectacular.
The first in particular emphasises the bulk and size of the animal.
lt really looks prehistoric.

Terry, I liked this pose because it showed the mass of the rhino.
Hal, Yes, Black Rhino.
Another one came right up to the end of the moat and stared right at me. It is an unsettling feeling to be looking down the horn of that beast. Thank goodness for the moat separating us.

A fine shot of a black rhino Cindy.
Those are the ones that in the wild are very dangerous to approach.
They turn and charge at surprising speed.
Great pair of horns. ln parts of Africa they are still hunted for
their horns that are reputed to help a flagging sex-drive.
