October 1981

I have been focussed for the last few weeks on scanning and printing, so I haven't had much in the way of new photographs to post. Here is a shot of my wife that I have been working on though. Taken in Cold Lake, Alberta in 1981. Scanned from a Kodachrome slide, and is now a 13X19 inch print in our front hallway. It was taken with my old Canon F1, the only camera that I have ever owned that I regret selling.

Lovely shot of your wife, Steve. Kodachrome 64 was my favourite slide film. That and Fuji Velvia. And I used a Canon A-1 (*not* AE-1) back in the day... I still miss it.

The photo is excellent and definitely a wall-hanger! Your wife is beautiful and the Kodachrome captured her complexion so well. Oh, Kodachrome!!!!! I have been busy scanning and printing, too. I love scanning. It is very relaxing to me and I love the moment when the photo is finally revealed. You have found a true treasure among your archives and I'm sure that your wife is pleased, too.
