A lovely photo of this vintage Buick! Powerful and impressive!

Oh, yes...
Looks like an ad in "Look" magazine...

Thank you for your comments, everyone. I checked it out, and it is a 1955 Buick Roadmaster Convertible...and the grill is the original. The 1956 Roadmaster had oval ports on the side and a different grill, which is probably the one that Hal was thinking of.

Nice shot. Very effective in b&W, and nice with the man inspecting it. I think it's the original grille.

Ahhh, my wife had the same convertible when she lived in Los Angeles before
we were married - used way more oil and transmission fluid than gasoline :).
Great stories and memories.

Nice shot with the man reminiscing perhaps about an old dream.

A fine shot Cindy, with lots of interest.
As l recall, that is not the original grille on this car.
The mesh doesn't look original.
Still, the car is wearing better than the human.

Yes, Lynn. It is a 55 or 56 Roadmaster Convertible. They used to call Buick's with those ports mud blasters when I was a kid, but I don't know why.

Pretty sure the car is a 55 Buick Roadmaster. Nice work in B&W, Cindy. Looks like a good car show!

No, Bob. I think not. The car is a mid-50's model and I'd say the guy was a 30-40's model.

I wonder if the car is older than the gentleman in the shot. Nicely done!
