Prairie

Chase County, Kansas

This shot was taken in the US Tall Grass Prairie Preserve.
This is the largest expanse of open prairie n North America. Upcoming are a shot or two of their residents, a collection of genetically pure American Bison.

Hope you aren't tired of this amazing landscape...

Great job, Michael! I'm more of a fan of big mountains, but I must say this is extremely appealing and makes me want to go there. The clouds and their shadows add so much dimension and interest to the prairie. Very well done.

Thanks, Pete.
Admittedly, I couldn't bring myself to crop the sky...

That's a great vista and so well presented - great colours and perfect for half sky and half land!
