I love the image, and the rocks and ice do great things here. I'm with Terry, I'd lose the con trail...

My two cents, Jim, the sky is a small part of this strong image - take out the vapor trail :)

Thanks, everyone for your kind comments and input! Ok, here's why I left the ion trail in the image. The sky seemed empty and desolate without it. At first when the plane flew through I was disappointed it wrecked my perfectly clear sky. But after looking at it I like the extra dimension in the sky. Maybe I'm wrong, but it seemed worthy to leave it in.

I greatly appreciate ALL comments, so again THANK YOU!

I have to agree about the vapor trail. It definitely does not belong
in this magnificent image. Go back and redo it immediately! :0)

I love how you composted this with the stream in the foreground leading my eyes to
those spectacular mountains. I don't know how you feel about cloning, but I agree with
'sage-creek' that the jet trail detracts from the overall balance of this beauty.

Amazing place - great shot - implies the sense of grand scale

A beautiful rugged scene...
I believe I would have "cloned out" the jet-trail, otherwise a very pleasing image.....

What spectacular scenery Jim.
The jet-trail is an interesting feature too.
l presume that in Summer after the melt, this river bed is under water ?
