Visiting an Old Friend

Shiloh, TN

The eagles at Shiloh are at it again. Today, one egg hatched, and so the feeding frenzy begins. Won't be nearby as much, but, I'll try to keep you posted. Dad, leaving for a meal. He had been gone all morning, flew in, caught a loud squawk from mom, and went off immediately to get something for the new one to eat...

A man on a mission! I love this action shot and the determined look on the eagle. Keep us posted! I really enjoy your eagle photos.

This is really nice, Michael! Your eagles are way ahead of ours - ours seem to be in the 'kissy kissy' stage - we are still in winter weather.....Technically I think this is about as good as can be done - eagles with that white head and tail and black feathers are one of the most difficult to get right - at least in my experience :)

Impeccable capture, Michael! Just one thought, you might want to bump down the white balance just a tad. Really, just a minor tweak. Wow, I wish I could say I shot this!
