Fantastic detail in his face, but he looks to be a bit sad.

I just Googled and found out that the males at the Seattle zoo are a cross between the Bornean and Sumatran subspecies of Orangutan. You might remember my picture of Michael from the Phonenix Zoo who is a Bornean subspecies Orangutan.http://www.pbase.com/through_the_lens/image/131144813

I love this! Orangutan's are my favorite animals at the Phoenix zoo. The Orangutans at the Phoenix zoo are Bornean Orangutans. This one looks a little different. Do you happen to know what species it is? Your portrait is just excellent. I have never been able to get this kind of a close-up (because I don't have 500mm LOL or your talent.) I bet you could sell this one to the zoo for their advertising.

Amazing detail, Jim! A face only a mother could love,
but very appealing, anyway.
