Uh oh....Danger! :) Now, don't go out on the rocks. Great composition!

I am playing catch up and trying to follow where these places are in Nova Scotia and it is most interesting... Also the set for Haven takes place on south shore of Nova Scotis....
Haven is a supernatural drama television series loosely based on the Stephen King novel The Colorado Kid. The show, filmed in the villages of Lunenburg and Chester on the picturesque South Shore of Nova Scotia, Canada, is an American/Canadian co-production.

Thanks all. Cindy, the black rocks refer to wet rocks; despite the signs it seems that every year someone is swept away by large waves. Terry, Nova Scotia has recovered fairly well from hurricane Juan, but it will be decades before our forests recover from all of the blow downs.

A lovely looking spot, no doubt you went down onto the black rocks for a better shot, lol.

Peggy's Cove is beautiful. I like this photo with the Danger sign included. It adds interest to the site. Can you tell me why the black rocks are special (keep off black rocks)?

Very interesting perspective, Steve!

We were there about 7 years right after a major hurricane - that almost blew down Halifax.
Gorgeous spot! Many of the buildings had been shifted off their foundations here, but
I am sure have been fixed since.

I was there in the late 1970's... it hasn't changed a bit. In fact, I have a photo from that period on my office wall. Hope to get back there someday, but it's a bit of a stretch from the west coast.
