Shiloh,TN

Our male bald eagle at Shiloh. He is actually one of about seven eagles in the area, includeing his recent offspring and his mate. A number of threatening juveniles are here as well..

There was a little post-processing, but most of the "unsharpness" is produced by a pretty stiff breeze that was blowing his breast plate of feathers. Later this day, there were storms that blew in on the breeze..

Holy mackerel... what a fantastic shot! Looks like you did some post-processing to soften the details a bit. Personally, I'd like to see mmore detail the beak, eye, and feathers here, but this is spectacular as-is.
