In honor of Terry's "Winter Wings " series, I spent a while shooting under perfect light with my subject our female eagle.
The shoot went so well, and images were so sharp that I decided to post this shot from last week...

Michael, Sorry that your shoot went so well that you posted the Cardinal. :-} We all have those days.I really like the bright red color of the cardinal. You seem to have an abundance of colorful birds in your area this time of year.
