An excellent capture Cindy, but I have to say... eeeeewwwwww what a creepie bug! I could just imagine a whole bunch of these flying around. Yikes, gives me the creeps to think about it! ;0)

Thanks, Hal. The eye is behind/below the feeler in the photo. I had never seen one before and was shocked by it. It was the size of a hummingbird.

A beautiful image with a very unfamiliar insect.
lt has feelers protruding where l expected eyes to be.
A lovely composition with a lovely flower.
