This could be in a book. What a great image.

Steve:
This is definitely the way to spend an afternoon in your are. Down here, he is missing the standard equipment for protection (no one in the south goes into such an area without a shotgun, 16 ga. or better) but I am sure that is a beautiful place, beautifully displayed. It's funny noting the difference in places...water moccasins make such activities a bit riskier here!

I love this, Steve! As Lennart already said - what a great way to spend the day! :-)

You are right Bob, there is the occasional opportunity for bird photos. Although, we are mostly out looking for turtles and snakes. One of my favourite ways to spend a day is puddling around in the narrow channels of a bog in a good canoe.

What a classic image, Steve. Wonderfully well done.
Navigation looks a bit challenging :)

Steve, this is such an excellent outdoor recreation image! This looks very much like it could be an advertisement for Cabelas or REI. Also, this lake looks EXACTLY like one near where I live that I sometimes go out in with my kayak. So relaxing, so many opportunities.

This is a beautiful recreational scene, Steve.
Looks like he has some navigating to do before he reaches open water.
Fascinating country

Nice! I'll bet there are lots of opportunities
for bird photography out there in a canoe.
