Thank you all for your thoughts and well-wishes. He is now in the hands of the Mayo Clinic and God.

If you want to learn more about Bryce hoodoos, this is a good link: http://www.nps.gov/brca/naturescience/hoodoos.htm

I've always wanted to go there. Gorgeous! Love all the detail. You showed the expanse of this place. Very mystical feel here.

This is such a well-crafted, beautiful view of the canyon, Cindy.
The subtle variations in hue and sharp edges almost work together as an abstract until you remember where the shot was taken.
I always enjoy images of that area.
Please give my regards to your family this week...

Thank you Hal, Terry, Alex, Jim, Frank, Bob and Steve. Bryce is indeed amazing, but it is really hard to capture because it is so immense. It is one of the most beautiful places in the world. I keep returning and trying to capture it.

Great shot Cindy. What I find striking is the contrast between the hoodoos and the forested hills in the background which leaves the forest sandwiched between warm tones. Very nicely composed.

This is spectacular. I love the subtile complementary pink tone in the sky.

Cindy, I've never been to Bryce and shots like this get me really thinking about rectifying that. This is gorgeous, I love how the early morning light brings all the natural warm tones in the formation. Excellent work!

We'll continue praying for healing for your son and peace for you and your family.

This is one fabulous view of Bryce Canyon, Cindy. Its really difficult to capture
the expanse of this marvelous place, and you have done it beautifully. I love the
crispness, colors, and composition - what can I say....this is the best!

Your son will stay in my thoughts and prayers.
