I like this church. Beautiful setting and amazing against the sky. Love the light!

Lennart, yes, the church is still in use. It's hard to tell outwardly, since I am only by it during the work week. I'll get a shot around Christmas to show the wreaths.
Frank, Hal, and Rudi, Steve and Terry:
Thanks for the comments. This is, infect, the same place as in a few others shots I have posted in this gallery. I was there yesterday, and the light was great, even at mid-day, and the clouds were great, so I thought I'd have at it again. Other than a black-and-white I shot there this past February at a very painful moment, this shot is my favorite.

A nice picture of a nice place! Is it still in use? Looks a little deserted!

Nice rural scene. Obviously built with functionality in mind.

A lovely shot Michael, I must admit there are some beautiful buildings over in your neck of the woods. Great detail all round.

PS What is special to me is that the facade is in full shadow
but it has plenty of light and detail. lmpressive.

This is lovely Michael. A beautiful rustic old church and a super photograph.

Like Rudi, I have a real affinity for old churches. Particularly those in small communities. This is a great example that is well photographed.

I love old churches! They always look good, this is no exception. I guess they knew how and where to build them in the old days...

What a wonderful setting and church, Michael. Very nicely
photographed.
