A Friend at Shiloh

A Friend at Shiloh

This morning in my park.
This guy was one of 20 white-tails feeding after an evening of flooding rain.

I'd love to see her in my yard. Very nice shot of her. She must be a historian too!

Those big ears are tuned into you.

Nice that the good looking deer have a safe habitat here.
Perhaps helps to bring a sense of hope from the memories

What a great shot Michael.
So good to have the deer with the memorial in the background.
lt gives your photo a sense of place, and a huge difference from when the guns
were used

Thanks, Terry..
Yes, Bob, I almost named the shot "Crossfire"...
Fortunately the animals there have a much lower sense of fear. Want to go to jail REALLY fast? Take a shot at one of the deer, turkeys or other residents in this park. They'll take your gun, your vehicle, everything you brought with you. Then they'll sell them at auction.

That deer looks like he just realized what's pointed in his direction. Thank goodness they are not loaded and that the park is dedicated to remembrance.

A very interesting and pleasant image, Michael. The deer really adds to the
peace and tranquility of this sacred place.
