Antelope Slot Canyon

Antelope Canyon, Page Arizona

Slot Canyon at Antelope Canyon, Page Arizona. G1 and Pen-F 20mm on tripod.
The beautiful swirls of rock have been created by water rushing through the canyon during rains. There is a hole in the top of the slot allowing light to filter down onto the rocks.

Visited here in 2006, a wonderful atmospheric place. It was challenging to get the long exposures, before someone walks into shot. I am sure you know what I mean! v

This must in the top 10 of 7 wonders of the earth, you have a great angle in this one giving good detail from closeup to far into the shot. Cool!

Magnificent image Cindy.
My understanding is that Antelope can get crowded, and the light is challenging.
This just seems to be very easily conquered by this image.
Another place on the list...

Magical light and the graceful curves make it hard to believe
that we are looking at hard rock.
A wonderfully planned and composed image, Cindy

I never get tired of these! That said, they have to be planned and executed well for them to be effective, and this one is simply perfect. Bravo!
