3 Alarm Fire at Charleston Landings Apartments in Brandon. This is the second time that this apt. complex has had a major fire. The first time the fire spread because of faulty fire alarms, and the cause of the first fire was a candle igniting a matress. This fire was a 3 alarm, and spread througout 8 units because of low GPM in the privately owned hydrants. The hydrants supplied 300 GPM when 2000GPM was needed. No injuries to no one and the cause of the fire is yet to be determined.
