A trip to the great puszta of Hungary with Uppvidinge ornithologial club in may 2009. The Puszta is a vast wilderness of grass and bushes in the National Park of Hortobagy. It´s an isolated outpost of the great Russian Steppe with a mixture of wet marshes, treeless saline steppes. With this nature comes a variety of birds, herons, the Great Bustards displaying, Bee-eaters and Rollers amongst many others.
