This chorten is adjacent to the Gompa in Geling. It had stopped snowing now but the cloud base was still down making photography difficult. The walk on to Geling had been quite difficult. On north facing slopes, the snow was icy and where the snow was soft, it was extremely slippery. On the map, this section of the trail is marked as "Impassable after heavy rain". The ground appeared to liquidise under the pressure of your boots and would just let you slide without warning.
