This and the following photos are taken in the cave gompa at Chhusang. It is about 200 metres up the valley towards Tetang on the right. A diagonal path leads up to the entrance. You will need a guide to unlock the gompa and there is a service charge of 100 NRs. It is worth seeing as it is about 450 years old, is in an original state, and is probably fairly typical of a small village gompa.
