Covered Bridges of Parke County Indiana

Traveling on gravel roads most of the bridges are crossing over many of the small rivers and creeks that run thru the rolling hillside of Indiana. The covered bridges were built in the
late 1800's and early 1900's.Occasionally you still may see a horse and buggy crossing thru the bridges by the Amish framers around the area.

If you were a professional photographer, your scenes would appear in a gallery and you would have visitors wanting to purchase them. The photos of the roads leading to the bridges, the bridges themselves indeed depict the rural setting. The photos of the leaves with their rich hues certainly depict the change of season. The photos of the children add a necessary personal element. From Vito and Arlene Volino [On a personal note, It is just unfortunate that November's cold temperatures and blustery winds cause this beauty to disappear leaving us with the barren trees and glumness of winter.]
