This was one of my Grandmother's Day Lilys. Her flower beds are largely unattended now, but these and a few other flowers still persist in showing their beauty. I helped her tend those gardens as a child. Digging compost holes, planting new flowers, moving others, fixing the brick borders and anything else she'd have/let me do. "We can never go home again", but I miss those times as well as her smile even so.
