I own both these cameras and see them as the most useful bridge between compact and SLR. The Fuji has a EXRCMOS Sensor of 12.0 megapixels measuring 2/3" (8.8 x 6.6 mm), the Olympus has a CCD sensor of 10.0 megapixels measuring 1/1.63" (8.07 x 5.56 mm) The Fuji has a 24-624mm lens, the Olympus a 28–112 mm. I took these photos to compare the two cameras mainly on program mode. I used Provia/standard setting on the Fuji and natural setting on the Olympus. Fuji images are DSCF Olympus P. Some were shot on A wide open to show bokhen effect available. All are JPEG images straight out of the camera - not processed at all.
