This is not a competition, but we were snowed in for a day or maybe several and I must say it was fun.

It took $150 to be plowed out the first time, but we have a very steep driveway and there was about 20 inches of heavy wet snow on it (there was about 29 inches of snow on the deck and other land areas). Six more inches of snow fell last night (February 9)which required another plowing for $65 (and that included getting my husband's car out of a snow bank he rammed into coming up the driveway. We had forgotten to put ashes on the pressed and freshly plowed snow.

I may delete this gallery eventually, but the snow was officially declared 'a historic one for the record books.' The icicles are enormous and lovely.
