A Puddle in May 2005

A few years ago I bought two bags of concrete and made a very inexpensive puddle for the birds in my back yard. I was amazed at what came to the sound and sight of dripping water. The water source is from the outside water faucet connected with about 75 feet of tubing to the pond. This May the birds are standing in line to take a bath.

Excellent shots comrade! Glad to see you up and running on pbase. Now you can share the beauty with everyone! That is an awesome shot of the male oriole.

In the puddle pic theres a fat happy squirrel eating all the sunflower seed. Same all over the place.
One morning I looked out and my small pond was full of cedar waxwings. Bathing and drinking after dining on my crab tree blossoms. Water makes a difference!
