Banding the Wolf River eagles 2011

On Memorial Day 2011 we had the great honor of banding two immature eagle chicks from the nest tree. It took a ton of people to pull this off, but it was worth every minute.

A big shout out to the Kramer family for the lift, Al Jr, the operator, Ryan, and the grandfather, Al senior for the advise. Also to Mike Arndt for the use of the flatbed to get the lift to the site. Without these caring people this would never have happened.

Thanks guys, see you next Memorial Day.
