It did not stay in the small cage long. It was more at ease in the flight. It got live mice and a large black dish to bath in. It flew just great and loved to get those dark fast moving mice that hid among the leaves and rocks.

Harriers have a white rump patch like a rough legged hawk. But the size and difference in flight you can not mistake one for the other.
