Her next flight was into a dead tree and within 30 seconds a red tail came out of nowhere in a stright line flight. It landed just inches above her and watched while she preened her feathers. It seem to be ok with the two of them The next flight showed us one was smaller than our bird, so a male was the second bird. They flew again a couple of times and then they were gone.

We would like to think it was her mate waiting for her to return.
