On the way to the first nest site.

This first site is in a park in New London and is an easy nest to monitor. We go up in a helicopter usually the third week in June to count chicks on the site. Each year the pilot of the helicopter is more than willing to do this for us. He is one great pilot and we sure enjoy the ride.

This first site is right along the 45 bypass east of New London and the ospreys have a great area to fish.
