The Saltee Islands are about 8 Km South of Kilmore Quay off the County Wexford coast in South East Ireland. A significant breeding site for numerous sea birds and especially noted for the two gannet colonies on headlands on the North and South ends of the Island. A boat leaves Kilmore Quay daily at 11.00am returning 4.00pm in summer, weather permitting. Bring your wellies as there is no jetty!
