Many American Wigeons, and one male American x Eurasian hybrid, were vigorously courting in Nob Hill Pond, Redwood Shores, January 20, 2013. Several males were displaying around one female, sometimes peacefully swimming near her, but frequently pursuing her or rushing at each other. The session ended when the female settled on one of the males.
