We spent New Year's Eve and day with friends at their house at Monterey Dunes south of Moss Landing, and I worked in a little bird photography, mostly at Laguna Grande in Seaside where I got pictures of a Black-throated Green Warbler, rare in our area. I also made brief stops and got pictures at Jetty Road in Moss Landing Harbor, Harkins Slough in Watsonville, and the Salinas River State Beach in front of Monterey Dunes.
